Welcome to Buds Unchained A relaxed, near-vanilla Rust experience built for players who want the core game they know and love — with just enough quality-of-life improvements to smooth out the rough edges, not reinvent the wheel. Think smart chest sorting, quick monument access controls, and a clean HUD — nothing that changes how Rust actually plays. How the server runs: Monday through Friday, it's calm, focused PVE. Build, farm, and progress your base without the constant threat of losing everything while you're offline. No PvP, no raiding — just Rust the way it's meant to be experienced solo or with your group. Then Chaos Weekend hits — every Friday 19:00 through Sunday 21:00, PvP and raiding go fully live. Bases become fair game, loot is up for grabs, and the island turns into a real battleground for 48 hours. Build your defenses during the week, then test them when the chaos begins. Roaming NPCs Event: Starting the first Thursday after every force wipe, roaming NPCs get activated across the map — extra loot, extra danger, and a great reason to gear up early. Once triggered, they stay active for the rest of the wipe cycle, right up until the next force wipe resets everything.
